Job summary

Great Little Box Company is hiring a Forklift Driver for the Mitchell Island facility in Richmond, BC. The morning shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. The role focuses on picking, staging, loading/unloading, and safe forklift operations within a team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current forklift certificate class 1, 4, 5 required.
• 3–5 years of forklift experience.
• High-reach forklift certification is considered an asset.
• Effective communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage orders in the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate an electric sit-down counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Use barcode system to locate products in the warehouse.
• Unload production lines and store product in the warehouse as required.
• Ensure equipment operates properly and report issues.
• Count inventory as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures while operating a forklift.
• Occasionally sort pallets outside and assist with production.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as required.

About the Role:

We are looking to welcome an energetic self-starter, mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Forklift Driver to join our Logistics team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and embraces our Continuous Improvement working culture. We are hiring at our Mitchell Island location at 11300 Twigg Place for the morning shift:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Compensation

The typical hiring range for this position is $20.50-23.00/hour depending on level of experience.
