Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator to prepare loads and unload materials in our warehouse. You will operate a propane forklift safely, perform daily inspections, and ensure orders are built and shipped to meet customer specifications.

Monday to Friday shifts, with a focus on efficiency and teamwork. We value safety, accurate loading, and strong communication with supervisors to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification (propane).
• Minimum of two years' experience.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Basic hand tool skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms.
• Ensure lift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met.
• Build orders to required specifications for delivery.
• Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner.
• Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials.
• Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands.
• Maintain contact with supervisors and work to resolve issues as they arise.
• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Together with other team members, the Forklift Operator works to exceed customer expectations. The wage range is $22 - $26.75 per hour (Tier 1; $22 - $24, Tier 2; $24 - $26.75). The shifts are Monday - Friday.
