Job summary

Great Little Box Company is seeking an energetic Forklift Driver to join our Logistics team on Mitchell Island, Richmond, BC. The morning shift runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

You will load/unload trucks, pick and stage orders, and operate an electric sit-down counterbalance forklift in a safety-focused environment. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $20.50-$23.00 plus benefits including health & dental, vacation, RRSP matching, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Current forklift certificate class 1, 4, 5 required.
• 3-5 years of forklift experience required.
• Certification with high-reach forklift is considered an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Willing to work outside sorting pallets occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage orders in the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate an electric sit-down counterbalance safely and efficiently.
• Use barcode system to locate product in the warehouse.
• Unload production lines and store product in the warehouse as required.
• Ensure all equipment is operating properly and report problems.
• Count inventory as required.
• Follow safety procedures while operating a forklift.
• Occasionally sort pallets outside and bring pallets to production.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as required.

We are hiring at our Mitchell Island location at 11300 Twigg Place for the morning shift:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Compensation

The typical hiring range for this position is $20.50-23.00/hour depending on level of experience.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work well with people in a team environment
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, as this position requires lifting, bending, and moderate physical exertion
• Ability to multi-task
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude
