Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Forklift Operator for a leading logistics and distribution center in Delta, BC. You will support receiving, picking, packing and shipping in a fast-paced warehouse, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The day shift runs 6:00am to 2:30pm, full-time. Candidates should have at least 1 year of forklift experience and be able to obtain forklift certification. RF scanners and voice-picking systems are used daily, with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Forklift Operator experience.
• Ability to acquire and maintain Forklift Certification.
• Comfort working at heights and wearing fall protection and other PPE.
• Proficiency with RF scanners, voice picking systems, and other warehouse technologies.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent counting skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric Powered Industrial Trucks to move merchandise and materials within the warehouse.
• Pick, pull, and stack merchandise, including boxes up to 50 pounds, onto pallets for distribution.
• Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Support various warehouse functions including receiving, returns, damages, transfers, and shipping as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
