Job summary

Manpower in Markham, ON is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator (Reach and Counterbalance) to support order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse. The role requires operating Raymond Reach and counterbalance forklifts to pick and prepare shipments, with attention to safety and accuracy.

The assignment is 4 weeks long, with a Monday-Thursday 6:30am–4:00pm shift and Friday 6:30am–3:00pm; pay ranges from CAD 24 to 25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklift experience with valid certification.
• Fall arrest certification.
• Working knowledge of RF scanners.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to pick and package products.
• Read and interpret production schedules, orders, and shipping docs.
• Maintain safety, quality, and order accuracy during operations.
• Follow ISO 9001 procedures and compile worksheets per customer specs.
• Keep a clean, organized warehouse environment to support operations.

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and excellent operational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Markham, ON

Pay Range: $24/hr-$25
