RONA is seeking a skilled forklift operator to join our distribution center in Calgary. You will load, unload, and store products, inspect shipments, and maintain accurate stock records, while upholding safety and SMART principles to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certification (license if required).
• Capacity for physical work, including lifting up to 23 kg, in varied outdoor conditions.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Team spirit, effective communication, and task autonomy.
• Familiarity with materials and stock management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and store products according to standards.
• Inspect equipment, loads, and products to ensure compliance and report issues.
• Prepare and assemble orders, prioritizing tasks and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by assisting with warehouse and yard maintenance.
• Record returns and stock adjustments in the system.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service using SMART principles.
