RONA is hiring a forklift operator for our distribution center near Châteauguay, Quebec. You will load, unload, and store products safely, inspect equipment, and assemble orders while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. The position offers full-time hours, on-site work, and participation in our comprehensive benefits programs.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certification (license if required).
• Capability for continuous physical work (lifting up to 23 kg).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with materials and stock management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and store products according to standards.
• Inspect equipment, loads, and products to ensure compliance and report issues.
• Prepare and assemble orders, prioritizing tasks and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with warehouse/yard maintenance.
• Record returns and stock adjustments in the system.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service using SMART principles.
