Job description

The operations supervisor will report to the Operations Superintendent and be part of a team responsible for all aspects of forest operations.

Description

• Supervise harvesting, road construction, hauling, and related operations.
• Ensure that production, quality, environmental, and legal requirements are met safely and cost-effectively.
• Manage contracts, supervise contractors, liaise with government officials, and coordinate with planning and silviculture.

Requirements

• Possess a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) or Registered Professional Forester Tech (RPFT) designation for Alberta (or be eligible and willing to earn this designation).
• 2-4 years of relevant forest operations experience.

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be highly motivated with proven organizational skills.
