Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to improve forecast accuracy and enable data-driven decisions across the supply chain. You will partner with PMs, science and engineering to design scalable solutions and create insightful dashboards.

You will work with Redshift/Oracle/NoSQL data, build ETL pipelines, craft SQL queries, and communicate actively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

3+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift/Oracle/NoSQL.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
Experience writing complex SQL queries.
Experience in statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database and Python scripting for modeling.
Advanced Excel and BI tool familiarity (Tableau preferred).
Proactive, independent, able to meet deadlines and deliver on projects.

Responsibilities

Understand opportunities for improvement and design solutions with PMs, Science and Engineering.
Collaborate with ML/Research to solve forecasting challenges for new businesses.
Communicate and earn trust with customers in retail and downstream systems.
Develop robust reporting mechanisms for internal and external teams.
