Position Purpose: The role involves preparing and serving food and snacks in a community-based setting, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and supporting food operations, working with vulnerable populations including children, youth, and adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain personal cleanliness, adhere to safe food handling and equipment operation procedures, understand hazard communication protocols, and perform other work-related duties safely.
Internal: Ministry Unit leadership and staff
External: Participants (Children, Youth, Adults)
Reports to: Corps Officer(s).
No direct reports.
Long hours standing, working in close proximity to others, physically demanding tasks, operating kitchen and cleaning equipment, working indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions, possibly operating a large food truck, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Target range: $15.65 to $16.90, up to $20.28 based on experience and qualifications.
