Job summary

Civeo Crown Employees LP seeks an experienced Food Services Manager to lead daily Lodge F&B operations, supervise staff, and uphold food safety and service standards. The role reports to the Lodge Manager and follows a 15 day on / 13 days off rotation, with days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years progressive food & beverage, culinary, or related professional area experience, including leading and managing people.
  • Proven track record of motivating and empowering people to meet or exceed goals, and to provide the highest quality experience for guests.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, productivity, inventory controls, P&L analysis, food & beverage cost controls.
  • Sound knowledge and passion for food & beverage operations.
  • Superior communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day food & beverage operations within the Lodge, supervising employees, maintaining service, food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Reviewing staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives.
  • Ensuring SOPs for revenue and cost controls, food safety, energy management, and preventive maintenance are followed.
  • Developing analytics around food cost, waste, and production.
  • Leading the F&B team with open, collaborative relationships and addressing employee concerns.
  • Ensuring exceptional guest service by example and continuous improvement.
  • Inventory management of F&B facilities to meet guest needs.
  • Participating in Lodge Management Team to deliver guest and employee services profitably.
  • Conducting audits to ensure company and regulatory standards are met.
  • Adhering to safety policies and procedures; following Safe Work Practices.

Job Summary

Civeo Crown Employees LP is actively recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Food Services Manager. This position will report to the Lodge Manager. The successful candidate will work a 15 day on and 13 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts and statutory holidays. This position is a key and pivotal role in the operations at the lodge

Responsibilities
  • Managing the day-to-day food & beverage operations within the Lodge, supervising and managing employees, and maintaining and elevating service, food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Reviewing staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Ensuring that all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost controls are in place; that all food safety, sanitation, energy management, and preventive maintenance standards are consistently met.
  • Developing and maintaining analytics around food cost, waste, production, etc.
  • Leading the food & beverage team by establishing and maintaining open & collaborative relationships with employees, reviewing employee satisfaction surveys to identify and address employee problems or concerns.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service is being provided to guests, through leading by example and empowering employees with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Inventory management of food & beverage facilities to ensure fulfillment of guest needs.
  • Participating as a key member of the Lodge Management Team, in delivering excellent guest and employee services in a profitable manner.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure company & regulatory standards are met.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company Safe Work Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Direct support in the day-to-day operations for the housekeeping and front desk departments including, but not limited to, such things as scheduling, employee management, purchasing, etc.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years progressive food & beverage, culinary, or related professional area experience, including leading and managing people
  • Proven track record of motivating and empowering people to meet or exceed goals, and to provide the highest quality experience for guests
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, productivity, inventory controls, P&L analysis, food & beverage cost controls
  • Sound knowledge and passion for food & beverage operations
  • Superior communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Must have a valid driver's license, with a 5-year driving record satisfactory to Civeo's driving criteria.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
