Job summary

Aramark in Chalk River is seeking a Full-time Cafeteria Food Worker to support daily operations. The role runs Monday to Friday, with two shift options from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at a wage of 19.08 CAD per hour with benefits.

You will prepare and serve food, operate the cash register, maintain clean work areas, and provide friendly customer service. Food Handler Certification is preferred, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to food safety standards.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner; maintain cleanliness of dining areas, serving stations, kitchen equipment and workspaces.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and utensils as required; assist with inventory receiving, storing and FIFO rotation.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Support catering, special events and other food service functions; assist other departments as needed.
• Serve customers at Deli, short order or hot meals; work at Tim Horton station, baking donuts or serving coffee.
