Job summary

Bento Inc. in Sherbrooke, QC is hiring part-time food service staff to prepare ingredients and sushi, serve customers, and maintain a clean workstation. You will join a team in a fast-paced environment and receive training, with opportunities for advancement within the Bento network.

The role requires teamwork and good communication, with a starting hourly wage between CAD 16.60 and CAD 20.00, practical hours, and a benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food service industry is required.
• Sushi preparation or handling experience will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients for dishes.
• Prepare sushi and other dishes (salads, rice bowls and sushi).
• Answer customers' questions and offer recommendations.
• Keep the workstation clean and tidy in accordance with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.

Location and hours

• Walmart:4050 boul Josaphat-Rancourt, Sherbrooke, QC J1L 3C6 | Friday to Sunday: 7:30 am to 3:00 pm

Responsibilities

Food service workers perform routine kitchen tasks, such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so meals can be prepared. The ideal candidate will work effectively as part of a team or alone, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Bento offers the necessary training! We will even provide your uniform. This role also offers opportunities for career growth, including potential advancement into franchise ownership.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in the food service industry; sushi preparation or handling experience will be considered an asset.
• Must be able to lift a load of 15 kg (33 lb)
• Must be able to stand for an extended period
• Be able to work in a team with good communication skills
