Job summary

Bento Sushi in Bowmanville, ON is seeking Food Service Team Members to join our kitchen at Loblaws. You will prepare sushi and other menu items according to our recipes, maintain food safety standards, track daily production, and collaborate with store staff in a fast-paced environment. Full training is provided; prior sushi experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Food service experience; sushi experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable using basic technology for communication and training.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (45 lbs).
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Food Handler Certification is an asset.

Location and hours

• Loblaws: 2375 Durham Regional Highway, Bowmanville, ON L1C 5A3 | 6:00 am to 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

Food Service Team Members play a key role in preparing high-quality sushi while ensuring food safety standards, tracking production, managing inventory, and collaborating with store employees in a fast-paced environment. Full training is provided; prior sushi experience is not required.
