Job description

We’re looking for someone with a passion for Operations Leadership for a position in our Vancouver Flight Kitchen. If you have strong leadership skills and production experience, this is an opportunity to take your career to the next level. You will be leading people and processes in our food production & assembly department. As we’re a 24hr / day, 7 days per week operation, you must be able to work various shifts.

Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 gross annually

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Leverage your culinary expertise to enhance our customer’s experience
  • Contribute to new menu design
  • Ensure customer quality standards are met or exceeded
  • Maintain safety, quality, and compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • Champion employee safety without compromise
  • Manage daily manpower planning, including responsibilities and workstations
  • Evaluate employee performance, provide coaching, and liaise with HR as needed
  • Train employees on work procedures to maximize productivity and minimize costs
  • Seek ways to minimize labor and material costs
  • Collaborate with internal customers & suppliers to improve the supply chain
  • Work with leadership towards unified goals
  • Handle administrative tasks like requisitions, production sheets, HACCP documentation, and shift reports

Education :

  • Red Seal Chef preferred

Work Experience :

  • Minimum 3 years cooking or food preparation experience with diverse cuisines
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with complex menus
