Project Coordinator & Warranty Service Supervisor (NOC 13100)

Job duties
- Oversee and coordinate logistical details and administrative procedures pertaining to major mechanical construction projects from concept to proposal.
- Establish work priorities and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
- Submit, track, and distribute RFI’s, shop drawings, site instructions, and drawings via Procore/Email with site staff, trades, BIM team and project stakeholders.
- Process project RFI’s and be able to create and follow up on Mechanical RFI’s.
- Process project site Instructions, issue to trades, sub-trades, vendors and site team. Coordinator shall be able to interpret the instruction and assist with preparing any estimates/quotes for the Project Manager to review and submit.
- Manage site safety documentation for all staff, sub-trades, and train new employees on safety documentation procedures.
- Distribute and manage field review report to sub-trades and coordinate work activity.
- Assist the Site Project Manager & Site Superintendent/Foreman with various activities, including progress photos, testing reports and QA/QC.
- Work with the Project Manager, BIM team and other project team members to resolve internal and external site coordination issues through Revizto, Navisworks and other various virtual platforms as required.
- Engage and assist with the site management team and ordering/tracking of the PMP project pre-fabrication schedule.
- Assist and engage with site logistics team and coordinate with suppliers for equipment/material
- deliveries.
- Participate in the QA/QC and commissioning process to assist with project closeout.
- Be responsible for preparing Operations and Maintenance manuals and other project close-out documentation.
- Suggest methods to improve PMP operations, processes, efficiency, and service delivery to both internal and external customers.
- Manage basic project correspondence, organizing project files, and issuing documents to the correct parties who need the information.
- Help to secure permits, book inspections when required.
- Conduct site visits and prepare a progress report for the Project Manager to review for Billing purposes.
- Update project and department logs.
- Prepare documents for O&M Manuals when required.
- Prepare LEED documentation if required.
- Maintain a favourable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.
- Attend and participate in project meetings as required.
- Provide project management backup as required.
- Participate in LEAN construction culture.
- Perform other duties as required.
Terms of employment
Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
Expected Employment Start Date: As soon as possible

$38.46/hour

Skills requirements – Education and Work experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration is required.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Site Coordinator + a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Project Coordinator in the mechanical industry is required.
- Proficiency in technologies such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Revizto, Revit, AutoCAD, Procore, Microsoft Project and Navisworks is required
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with personnel of other departments.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally.
- Technically proficient, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
