Job description

Tundra Site Services is currently accepting resumes for a Lube Technician for work at a mine in Northern Canada on an 8 day in / 6 day out rotation (inclusive of travel days to / from mine).

Charter flights leave from Calgary or Yellowknife. Charter flights may be available from other northern communities. Commercial flights from longer distances from the charter deployment cities can be discussed.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Ensuring proper lubrication of machinery and equipment for efficient operation.
  • Performing regular oil changes and using correct lubricants and oils.
  • Monitoring and maintaining fluid levels.
  • Conducting routine inspections for signs of wear or potential issues.
  • Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities and service schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Machine Lubricant Analyst Level 1 Certificate an asset.
  • Valid Confined Space and Fall Protection tickets.
  • Willingness to work indoors / outdoors, dayshift / nightshift in a remote camp environment.
  • Criminal background checks, medical assessment, and drug tests for site access.
  • A strong commitment to site safety policy and procedures.
  • Strong verifiable references from previous employers.
