Job summary

Un restaurant dynamique à Nanaimo recherche un Superviseur de la cuisine pour gérer les opérations de cuisine tout en assurant un service de qualité. La personne choisie sera responsable de la formation du personnel, de la supervision des activités et de la satisfaction client dans un environnement rapide et exigeant.

Qualifications

  • 2 à 3 ans d'expérience en cuisine ou en restauration.
  • Connaissance des genres culinaires.
  • Capacité à travailler dans un environnement rapide.

Responsibilities

  • Superviser et coordonner les activités du personnel.
  • Préparer des estimations de coûts et de budget.
  • Former le personnel aux procédures de sécurité.

  • Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience : 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
