Qualifications

• FoodSafe Level 1 certification is required.
• Familiar with cash register is an asset.

• Good command of English (verbal and written).
• Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant or fast food is an asset.
• Must have physical ability to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prep work: wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays safely between stations.
• Store food with proper wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Set up items for daily purchase.
• Perform general cleaning and remove trash.
• Distribute supplies and portable equipment.
• Follow recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portions.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay information to supervisor.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
