Job summary

Talantir in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a dedicated dishwashing/food service worker for a permanent, full-time role. You will support kitchen operations by cleaning, sanitizing, stocking, and assisting with take-out packaging.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain required Food Safety, Safe Food Handling and Food Service Worker certificates.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is an asset but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Carrying and replace linen.
• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Place dishes in storage area.
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• Package take-out food.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
