Compass Group Canada (Beaver) Ltd. is hiring a Food Service Worker. The role involves preparing, presenting and serving meals with a focus on quality, safety and presentation. You will handle preparation tasks, stock and cashier duties in a healthcare/retail setting.

Applicants should be able to work Mon-Fri 3:00pm–10:30pm with potential weekend shifts, and having a FoodSafe level 1 or cash register experience is a plus. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualificações

• Availability to work Monday–Friday 3:00pm–10:30pm; occasional weekends.
• FoodSafe Level 1 certification is an asset.
• Familiar with using a cash register is an asset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills for handling heavy workload.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant or fast food is an asset.
• Physical ability to perform duties.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, wash, peel, cut and seed fruits and vegetables.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays safely between stations.
• Store food properly with rotation and dating.
• Set up items for daily sale.
• Clean and dispose of trash; maintain sanitation.
• Distribute supplies and equipment.
• Follow recipes and portion controls; monitor temperatures.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to customers.
• Address customer concerns and relay to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Serve customers across all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
