Oneida Nation of the Thames is a First Nation Settlement located near the City of London, Ontario. Standing Stone School offers FDK through Grade 6 programming for approximately 190 students. The Food Preparation Worker/Assistant Cook will work closely with the established team to ensure that each student at Standing Stone School has access to healthy food every school day, promoting a positive and healthy start. The program will provide approximately 190 students with a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack. The programs effectiveness will be regularly evaluated, focusing on immediate benefits such as improved attendance, reduced behavioral and attention issues, enhanced overall health, and increased success in school. This position will also assist in tracking daily statistics, identifying opportunities to improve participation, and increase parental involvement. This position will adhere to the Personnel Policy for Standing Stone School and will report directly to the Principal.
