A community organization in Sagamok is seeking a Cafeteria Cook to prepare and serve meals while maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess experience in food preparation and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include menu planning, inventory management, and engaging with students in nutrition education. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
JOB SUMMARY: The Relief Cafeteria Cook will prepare and serve daily nutritional snacks and meals to the students and employees at Biidaaban Kinoomaagegamik according to the healthy menu plan. At times the Cafeteria Cook will need to cater meetings in various Sagamok programs, and they may be needed to provide support to other nutritional programs when required. They will participate in nutritional programming provided by the school that will help students and families in making healthy food choices, giving them the knowledge of the role of nutrition in maintaining health and improving school performance.
