Job summary

Chudleigh's Bakery is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for Milton, ON. The role involves accurately moving inbound and outbound goods, maintaining paperwork, and ensuring safe, compliant warehousing in a food production environment.

You will handle pallet inspections, loading/unloading, and operating the WMS with handheld scanners. Candidates must hold a valid forklift certificate and HS diploma, with flexibility for weekend shifts and varied start times.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a food or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read simple instructions, perform basic math, and document activities accurately.
• Maintain valid lift vehicle certifications and follow safety protocols (GMP/HACCP).
• WMS experience and use of handheld scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pallets for accuracy and damage.
• Load/unload trailers safely according to standards.
• Execute Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes flawlessly.
• Report system issues to Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas and assist other departments as needed.
