Gestion Louis Giguère Inc. based in 1555 Boul. Saint-Antoine, Saint-Jérôme, QC J7Z 7M1 is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Food counter attendant who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The open positions pertain to the Term or contract or Full time job. The shift timings include Day, Evening, Night and Shift. The position of Food counter attendant has been approved by the LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment).

• The candidate will be responsible for packaging take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate will be responsible for serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate will be responsible for taking customer orders.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

Work setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have experience using deep fryers, electronic cash registers, and food dispensers.
