Job summary

Restaurex Corporation O/A Subway is seeking a Food Counter Attendant to join our Red Deer location. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with hourly pay of $15.50 and a 30–35 hour workweek, starting as soon as possible.

You will take orders, prepare simple foods, and keep the dining area and kitchen clean. Training is provided, and relocation bonuses may be available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take customers' orders and serve food at the counter.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, tables and work surfaces.
• Stock and rotate inventory in refrigerators and salad bars.
• Prepare, package and wrap take-out items.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• Place dishes in storage area
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Take customers' orders
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Handle and store cleaning products
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sharpen kitchen knives
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
