Hydra Estiatorio, Vancouver’s premier destination for upscale Greek cuisine, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our passionate team. Located in the heart of downtown, Hydra offers a sophisticated, high-volume dining experience inspired by the vibrant flavors and hospitality of Greece.

About the Role:
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll be at the forefront of daily operations, supporting the management team to ensure seamless service, an elevated guest experience, and an engaged, motivated front-of-house team. You'll play a critical leadership role in maintaining our high standards while helping create a welcoming and professional environment for both staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support front-of-house team during service

Ensure smooth execution of daily operations in a high-volume setting
Deliver exceptional guest service and address guest concerns promptly and professionally
Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance feedback
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation
Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure optimal service flow
Enforce Hydra’s service standards and safety protocols

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Passion for hospitality, food, and Greek cuisine is a plus
Proven ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service etiquette
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
