Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks:

1. Evaluate daily operations
2. Plan and organize daily operations
3. Train staff
4. Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
5. Organize and maintain inventory
6. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
7. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
8. Address customers' complaints or concerns
9. Provide customer service

Support for newcomers and refugees:

1. Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
2. Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
3. Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
4. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
5. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
6. Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations
7. Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
8. Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers

Supports for visible minorities:

1. Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.)
2. Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
3. Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
