A leading company in hospitality is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations at a lodge’s primary outlet. With responsibilities including staff management, budget oversight, and fostering a culture of guest satisfaction, this role requires strong leadership. Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in a similar setting, with a passion for excellence in service.
Lead the daily operations of the lodge’s primary food and beverage outlet
Provide oversight for all F&B areas at the lodge, with support responsibilities at nearby sister properties as needed
Supervise and coach a seasonal team of 50–150 employees, including supervisors and assistant managers
Manage operating budgets and monitor expenses (labour, COGS, supplies)
Prepare schedules, payroll submissions, gratuities, and training materials
Support planning and execution of special events, functions, and menu launches
Lead team communication and maintain brand and service standards
Foster a high-performance culture rooted in guest satisfaction, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Ensure safety protocols are followed and uphold a strong culture of health and safety
Handle guest feedback and escalate service recovery as needed
Contribute to forecasting, monthly reporting, and inventory control systems
Participate in environmental and community initiatives that align with sustainability values
3–5 years of leadership experience in food & beverage, ideally within a hotel or resort setting
Proven experience managing large teams in high-volume operations
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead by example and create a culture of accountability and service excellence
Financial literacy with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
Experience with team training and performance management
Wine knowledge and fine dining experience are considered assets
Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment and pivot effectively as needed
Comfortable collaborating across departments and working with diverse seasonal teams
A passion for creating outstanding guest experiences through food and service
