Job summary

Provisions Whistler is a neighborhood cafe that serves coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and made-to-order meals. The FOH Supervisor collaborates with the Store Manager to drive service, train the FOH team, and uphold brand standards while delivering warm hospitality to guests and staff.

The role requires at least 1+ years in a high-end cafe or restaurant, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand long hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a high-end cafe and/or service in a restaurant.
• Food Handlers License an asset
• Serving it Right
• Problem-solving and delegation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ideally in two or more languages
• Able to accommodate a flexible schedule
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead with urgency and attention to detail during service.
• Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH team members.
• Train and guide the FOH team to achieve daily excellence.
• Interact with guests and vendors with genuine hospitality.
• Maintain dining room, storage, and shared spaces.
• Prepare store for daily service and breakdown of stations.
• Cash out and perform end-of-day reporting.
• Execute service steps with efficiency and grace.
• Resolve guest conflicts and follow up on service issues.
• Demonstrate espresso expertise and maintain equipment.
• Update menu items in digital systems daily.
• Advise guests on allergies/restrictions and accommodations.
• Show knowledge of Health Department standards.
