Job summary

Steam Whistle Kitchen in Toronto is hiring for the busy summer season. You will perform as host and runner/busser with the potential to grow into server and bartending roles.

You will be paid $17.60 per hour plus a tip-out program, with approximately 4-5 shifts per week, including evenings and weekends.

Experience hosting/serving, Smart Serve certification, and a friendly, customer-first approach are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hosting/serving experience required.
• Ability to manage reservations with ResyOS or similar.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage arrivals.
• Handle reservations and waitlists.
• Ensure opening, midday and closing duties are completed.
• Provide fast, friendly service in a busy environment.
• Adhere to service standards and health policies.
