MSI is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth of tile and countertop products within retailer and dealer networks across a defined geographic territory in Canada. You will build strong relationships, train store personnel, quote pricing, and manage promotions while collaborating on ROI with dealers.

The role requires strong math, negotiation, and communication skills, with up to 90% travel and the ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Industry experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong math skills for discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area and volume.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with retailers and dealers to grow sales.
• Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel.
• Understand products, market competition, and strategic positioning.
• Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for availability.
• Consult with dealers on pricing, advertising, promotions and ROI.
• Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts.
• Estimate delivery dates based on schedules.
• Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities with customers.
• Use catalogs and vendor collateral to expand territory reach.
• Research customer needs and market trends to forecast demand.
• Resolve delivery, returns, and credit issues.
• Attend trade shows as required.
• Willing to travel up to 90%, mostly local with some overnight trips.
