Job summary

RONA is seeking a customer service team member to guide shoppers and manage special orders in our Greater Sudbury store. You will help customers in person or by phone, ensuring accurate information and timely delivery dates while maintaining organized product displays and signage.

You will participate in training to expand product knowledge and enhance selling skills, supporting promotions and flyers. The role emphasizes service quality, teamwork, and a positive shopping experience for customers

Qualifications

• Effective selling skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to assess customer requirements and make recommendations.
• Some experience in a customer-focused role is required.
• Ability to perform duties requiring stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with information and product requirements in-store or over the phone.
• Prepare and confirm price/availability for special orders with the Purchaser.
• Maintain store condition, stock levels, signage, and inventory counts.
• Keep informed on flyers and promotions.
• Increase product knowledge and selling skills through training.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
