Job summary

Qualifications

• AZ driver’s licence with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of scheduled loads safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and ensure vehicle is in good working order.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and participate in required training.
• Work as a team member and maintain respectful working relationships.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Caron Equipment Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and dependable AZ Float Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of scheduled loads in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong communication and people skills, excellent planning and organization, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and close attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely delivery of scheduled loads in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
• Demonstrate a commitment to personal safety and the safety of others by following all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in all required training, including training required for Heavy Equipment Operators.
• Apply a detailed understanding of mining, industrial, and/or civil construction methods when performing work.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Work as a supportive team member and build respectful working relationships.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid AZ driver’s licence and a safe driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Experience within the mining, construction, or industrial sector is considered an asset.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible and dependable.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and extended hours.
