Job summary

Flanagan Foodservice is seeking an AZ Transfer Driver to operate overnight out of the Whitby Yard. You will transport between resident yards and the Distribution Centre, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum of 1 year AZ class driving experience.
• Ability to work nights and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate company vehicles including pre- and post-trip inspections and required logs.
• Follow company policies and procedures and MO/T rules.
• Maintain vehicle and comply with safety standards.
• Greet internal and external customers and suppliers professionally.
• Complete routes and schedules while ensuring timely delivery and safety.

We are looking for an AZ Licensed Transfer Driverto work overnights out of our Whitby Yard.

Position Summary:

As an AZ Transfer Driver with Flanagan Foodservice, you will be required to drive an AZ vehicle with up to two trains (lead and pup) between our resident yards and the Distribution Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and professionally operate company vehicles and equipment including conducting pre and post trip inspections, completion of required logs and reports.
• Follow the Company’s policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance to Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations
• Ensure all safety standards are followed at all times
• Maintain tractor as required to internal and government standards
• Greet internal and external customers and suppliers professionally upon arrival
• Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role
• Responsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety, safe handling and integrity of all items received, stored and distributed by Flanagan Foodservice
• Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices

Required Qualifications:
