Job summary

Caron Equipment Inc. is seeking an experienced AZ Float Truck Driver to join our team in Timmins, Ontario. The successful candidate will deliver scheduled loads safely and on time, conduct daily safety inspections, and adhere to all safety policies while collaborating with a team.

The role requires strong communication, planning, and multitasking abilities, plus the flexibility to work rotating shifts and extended hours in a mining or industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ driver’s licence with a safe driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Experience in mining, construction, or industrial sectors is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely delivery of scheduled loads in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
• Demonstrate commitment to personal safety and the safety of others by following all company and site policies.
• Participate in required training, including Heavy Equipment Operators training.
• Apply understanding of mining, industrial, and/or civil construction methods when performing work.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Work as a supportive team member and build respectful working relationships.
• Perform other related duties as required.
