Job summary

Qualicare Homecare is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our home care team. You will provide essential personal care, companionship, and practical support to clients in their homes, under supervision of the Care Coordinator.

Ideal candidates have a PSW certificate or equivalent, CPR/First Aid training, and the ability to travel within our service area. Reliable vehicle access and a clear background check are preferred to ensure safe, consistent care.

Qualifications

• PSW Certificate or equivalent.
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
• Current clean Background Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to travel around the location territory.
• Access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients on outings.
• Shop and run errands; Medication assistance/reminders.
• Ambulation and transporting of clients.
• Provide companionship to clients.
• Follow care plan.
• Documentation.
