Job summary

Fueling Brains Academy is seeking On-Call Early Childhood Educators to support our teams across Calgary campuses. You can select one or multiple locations (New Brighton, Centennial, West 85th) based on availability and commute.

As an On-Call Educator, you’ll cover classrooms as needed, create a safe, engaging environment, and help with daily routines. You’ll collaborate with teachers and leaders while gaining exposure to diverse age groups and settings.

Qualifications

• Alberta ECE certification (Level 2 or 3 preferred) and current First Aid.
• Experience in childcare/early learning settings is preferred.
• Reliable, flexible and strong communicaton skills are essential.
• Willingness to work across multiple Calgary campuses.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage based on campus staffing needs and availability.
• Create a safe, caring and engaging environment for children.
• Support children through daily routines, transitions and activities.
• Encourage independence, creativity and social-emotional development.
• Collaborate with Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers and campus leadership.
• Assist with play-based learning experiences and routines as required.
