Job summary

Magic Mountain Childcare is seeking on-call educators who can cover shifts when regular Educators are unavailable. The ideal candidate communicates well in English, is dependable, adaptable, and ready to obtain Alberta Child Care certification levels 1–3.

Qualifications

Prior childcare experience is preferred.
Completion of Alberta Child Care certification levels 1, 2, or 3 is required/obtaining.
Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search is required.
Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging programming for children.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the environment.
Lead and support children in learning and recreational activities.
Supervise and engage with children to ensure well-being.
Cultivate positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Participate in professional development initiatives.
Comply with Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulations and center policies.
