Job summary

The Government of Yukon is hiring a Home Support Worker in Carcross, Yukon. This part-time, permanent role provides home care services to clients under the Yukon Home Care Program, aiming to enhance daily living and quality of life.

You will assist with personal care, home management, and respite care, employing strong interpersonal and communication skills while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A valid Yukon class 5 driver's license is required prior to hire.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Home Care or community-based settings.
• Experience providing personal care, home management and respite care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide home support services to clients under the Yukon Home Care Program.
• Promote optimum functioning in Activities of Daily Living and quality of life.
