Job summary

Inclusion Yukon is seeking Independent Respite Workers to provide flexible, part-time respite care for individuals with disabilities in home or community settings. Contractors set their own schedules and negotiate rates with families.

Ideal candidates have training in Disability Support Work or related fields, are reliable, and comfortable working independently with diverse needs. A valid driver's license and up-to-date insurance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education/experience in Disability Support Work or Health Care.
• Passionate about Inclusion Yukon’s vision, mission and values.
• High level of professionalism and an independent work ethic.
• Strong health and safety awareness and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide respite care in home, community, or other approved settings.
• Coordinate with families/caregivers to schedule and plan care.
• Offer support with daily living activities and safety, respecting boundaries.
