Job summary
A community health organization is seeking a Community Support Worker in Metro Vancouver to provide tailored personal support to individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a related role, holds a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence, and has certifications in WHMIS and FoodSafe. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting client progress, and collaborating with care teams. This is a casual position with the potential for full-time work.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience as a Community Support Worker or in a closely related role providing one-to-one support.
Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with mental health and/or personal care needs.
Valid BC Non-restricted Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities
Provide personal, social, emotional, and practical support to individuals in their homes and community settings.
Assist with personal care (grooming, dressing, hygiene).
Complete daily charting and written reports.
