Job summary

A community health organization is seeking a Community Support Worker in Metro Vancouver to provide tailored personal support to individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a related role, holds a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence, and has certifications in WHMIS and FoodSafe. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting client progress, and collaborating with care teams. This is a casual position with the potential for full-time work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Community Support Worker or in a closely related role providing one-to-one support.
• Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with mental health and/or personal care needs.
• Valid BC Non-restricted Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, social, emotional, and practical support to individuals in their homes and community settings.
• Assist with personal care (grooming, dressing, hygiene).
• Complete daily charting and written reports.
