Job summary

Mercor is hiring experienced music producers and audio engineers to evaluate generative music AI models, in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will assess AI-generated music across a wide range of genres and rate it against detailed quality standards, working in Hebrew and English.

Start date is immediate. Duration up to 6 months. Most experts work around 20 hours per week; there is no cap. This is a remote opportunity with accommodations provided upon request.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Hebrew, and ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
