Job summary

Carecor Health Services, a Bayshore HealthCare subsidiary, seeks Developmental Support Workers to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in the Greater Toronto Area. This casual, on-site role offers flexible scheduling based on needs.

You will provide person-centered care, help with daily living activities, promote independence, and maintain accurate client documentation. This is a supportive, community-based position with opportunities for training and education.

Qualifications

• DSW diploma preferred; related education in Human Services may be considered.
• Experience supporting children, youth, or adults with developmental disabilities, autism, or complex needs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with diverse needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and participation.
• Promote independence, safety, dignity, and overall well-being in home and community settings.
• Implement individualized support plans and assist with daily routines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of client information.
• Follow organizational policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
