Job summary

Magnum Services is seeking a Parts & Inventory Coordinator in Strathmore, AB to manage centralized parts inventory supporting our vehicle and equipment fleet. The role involves stock handling, warehousing, cataloguing parts, ordering, shipping, receiving, inspection and sorting, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety.

You will work with Operations, Purchasing, Mechanics, Welders and Assembly teams to ensure parts availability, timely PO creation, and proper data entry.

Qualifications

• Proficient with inventory management software and data entry.
• Strong Excel and Word skills for reporting and tracking.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to change.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Magnum's inventory software and learn its procedures.
• Ensure accurate data entry for POs, WO, costing, inventory and ordering.
• Monitor stock levels to maintain availability and minimize excess inventory.
• Create purchase orders for all parts ordered.
• Organize and maintain central parts inventory for fleet support.
• Coordinate stock handling, warehousing, shipping and receiving.
• Provide inventory location and quantity information as needed.
• Maintain current parts knowledge and identify items to be ordered.
• Process paperwork in a timely manner.
• Support Equipment and Operations departments to supply correct parts.
• Train new parts staff and uphold high housekeeping standards.
• Establish vendor relationships and provide excellent customer service.
