Eagle Well Servicing, a division of Western Energy Services Corp. is hiring a Fleet Manager to join our growing team!

Western Energy Services Corp. is an oilfield service company which provides contract drilling services through Horizon Drilling in Canada and Stoneham Drilling Corporation in the United States. In addition, Western provides well servicing through Eagle Well Servicing in Canada, and provides rental services through Aero Rental Services in Canada.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Fleet Manager will be responsible for overall support and repair of Eagle Well Servicing’s various service rigs and well-servicing support equipment. This position collaborates with all levels of operations to ensure all equipment is repaired and maintained in accordance with expectations while meeting regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain fleet and equipment management including purchasing, scheduling, tracking, maintenance, and repairs
  • Create shop work orders to track all required repairs
  • Ensure fleet compliance with all provincial and federal requirements
  • Coordinate with field superintendents and drivers to address any equipment deficiencies noted on inspections or during operations
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections
  • Work with 3rdparty service providers to standardize expectations for repairs and service
  • Travel to various operation locations to ensure proper preventive maintenance strategies are being implemented and followed
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must possess a strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and regulatory requirements
  • Strong heavy equipment and mechanical knowledge, license mechanic preferably
  • Experience with well servicing equipment is an asset
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential
  • Strong ethics and compliance to rules and regulations
  • Commitment to following and promoting safe working practice
