BYD Canada is seeking a Flash Charging Business Development Specialist to lead network planning and partner development across Canada. You will coordinate with BYD HQ and local partners to drive construction and operation of the flash charging stations, aiming to optimize network performance and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial charging stations or energy storage.
• Degree in electrical engineering required.

The Flash Charging Business Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, optimize action, and performance of BYD Canada's flash charging network development, this role plays a critical part in executing BYD's flash charging network expansion strategy and business growth across Canada.

The successful candidate will lead flash charging network planning initiatives, and coordinate with the partner to manage all the flash charging station construction projects. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and network effectiveness.

• 1. Research and Analysis: Do research and analysis about the EV charging market size, subsidy policies, business models, and network planning of charging business in Canada. Make cost and profit models for flash charging.
• 2. Partner Development: Based on the needs, develop local partners who can provide power grid upgrade, equipment installation, and on-site operation services.
• 3. Project Planning: Analyze and formulate a reasonable network plan for flash charging stations.
• 4. Project Management: Manage the implementation of flash charging, coordinating with BYD headquarters and Local partners. Ensure the completion of site construction.
• 5. Operation Management: Cooperate with the partner and jointly operate all the flash charging stations to ensure normal operations.
