Job summary

BYD Canada is seeking a Flash Charging Business Development Specialist to lead network planning and partner development across Canada. You will coordinate with BYD HQ and local partners to drive construction and operation of the flash charging stations, aiming to optimize network performance and growth.

The role requires strong background in charging networks or energy storage, along with the ability to analyze market dynamics and implement plans with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial charging stations or energy storage.
• Degree in electrical engineering required.
• Experience with network planning and project management is desirable.
• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities for cost and profit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze the Canadian EV charging market, subsidies and business models.
• Develop local partners for grid upgrades, equipment installation and on-site ops.
• Formulate a reasonable network plan for flash charging stations.
• Coordinate with BYD HQ and local partners to manage site construction.
• Collaborate with partners to operate all flash charging stations smoothly.
