Job summary

The Crescent Hotels & Resorts family is hiring a First Cook (Part-time) for the Varscona Hotel on Whyte and Ampersand 27. You will join our culinary team to help prepare delicious dishes and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site role offers flexible shifts, competitive wages, and a benefits-friendly path with opportunities to grow, while upholding health and safety standards and teamwork across the kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Part-time on-site role in a hospitality kitchen.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• As our First Cook, you will be working with our Culinary team to passionately assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, as well as assisting in the supervision of kitchen staff, catering functions and inventory management.
• You are quick, diligent, and able to follow instructions, as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. You thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment and as a part of a team.
