Job description

We are hiring for a Relief Pharmacist to support our stores across British Columbia. You will support a variety of stores across the province but will be based in the lower mainland.

You will be responsible for:
  1. Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
  2. Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
  3. Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  4. Remaining current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
  5. Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
  6. Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.
You have:
  1. A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  2. Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
  3. Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
  4. The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
  5. Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).
  6. The ability to travel frequently throughout the region for 1-2 weeks at a time.
  7. The ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Compensation: $44.00 - $47.00. The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
